Emma A Mugisha

Emma fellowships at All Saints Cathedral Kampala where she gave her life to Christ as a child in Sunday School. Emma  is an experienced Banker, having worked in the Microfinance and Banking industry for the last 23 years managing business units in Uganda and Kenya. She is current the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Stanbic Bank Uganda.

Emma was recently appointed to the Financial Services Deepening Uganda as Board member and previously volunteered on the local and International Boards of Nyaka Aids Foundation, a not for profit organisation that runs 2 free primary schools for under privileged children in western Uganda that has grown to build a Secondary school, community Library, run a successful Grandmothers program and other associated projects. She also served on the International Board for 5 years as Vice Chair on the international board for Nyaka Aids Foundation managed out of the United States of America to fundraise for the local projects.

Emma is also a member of the League of East African Directors, a leading Governance institution for the region with a Vision for well led Businesses. 

Emma holds a Master of Business Administration in General Management from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University.

She has specific interest in the Financial services, financial inclusion, technology and Global business with interests in Africa. She also has a special interest in women and finances, personal development and finding our God given place in society. She is developing her transformational coaching skills in this area.

Emma is Married and a proud mother of 3 amazing children.
