Juliet. Nakimuli. Kasiita

Juliet is the Country Manager Uganda for The Sinapis Group, a business incubator and accelerator
empowering faith-driven entrepreneurs to make disciples and alleviate poverty through the power of
entrepreneurship. She has over 15 years professional experience in ICT Service Delivery, Business
Operations, Strategic planning and Entrepreneurship development in the Banking, Microfinance and
Telecom Industry. She works with teams to identify various ways to leverage innovation as a key driver
for women entrepreneurship and economic empowerment to unlock opportunities solving pressing
socio-economic challenges in a scalable manner.


She is the Founder/ Team Lead at The Winpreneurs Uganda a collaborative community platform
helping young women stretch out of their comfort zone and unleash their entrepreneurial potential
by starting and running scalable sustainable enterprises. Winpreneurs has trainer over 5000 Women
entrepreneurs in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, and South Africa. She is also an AWEC (African
Women Entrepreneurship Cooperative) fellow and Sinapis Entrepreneurship Academy
Alumni/Entrepreneurship trainer. Juliet is passionate about ensuring that Africa Led ventures are
creating spaces for every woman to thrive and become the best version of themselves. She is a
graduate of Makerere University Kampala with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (BASS), Master of
arts in Social Sector Planning and Management (MASSPM) plus other several certifications in ICT
Delivery Management.

She is a certified financial literacy trainer, Business consultant, speaker, Mentor and has provided
business management, financial literacy, and financial management training to several corporate
companies, schools, government, and non-governmental institutions in the last 10 years. Her work
experience ranges from Grants and Fund management, business advisory services, women and youth
empowerment, capacity building as well as content development. She has previously worked across
East Africa and the Sub-Saharan regions with Barclays Bank Uganda Limited, Huawei technologies in
MTN IT Shared Services Telecom, BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd.


She is ardent about using her strong business acumen, technology background and experience to help
Uganda’s women start-up community thrive in today’s competitive innovation and entrepreneurship
landscape evidenced through her several startups such as Chai and Mo Herbal Tea House and Spur
Africa Consult. She has rich experience working with diverse teams traversing various sectors on shortand long-term consulting, business development projects in Strategy, Management and Business
models for emerging markets. She loves reading, travelling, networking, charitable causes and is
married to Henry Kasiita with one daughter. OH YEAH! She enjoys a good laugh over a cup of herbal
tea.
